Young Creatives Course (Ages 11-14)
The Young Creatives Art Course is designed for kids aged 11-14 who just love art! Whether they’re always sketching in their spare time or experimenting with their own projects, this course is perfect for helping them take those next steps.
WHAT DO WE CREATE?
Every term starts with strong foundations before building those skills through exciting projects and artworks. Together we'll explore a wide range of materials, techniques, artists and creative ideas, giving young creatives the confidence to develop their own artistic style.
My teaching isn't about children simply copying what I do. I'll demonstrate techniques, explain the thinking behind them and guide the group as we draw together. Along the way I'll encourage everyone to ask questions, explore their own ideas, experiment, solve problems and discover where their creativity can take them.
The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and supportive. Young creatives become part of a community where they can share ideas, encourage one another and celebrate each other's work. Every term brings something new, so there's always another creative adventure waiting.

Before the First Class
First Class Dates
16th September
Classes begin one week after local schools return, giving young creatives a chance to settle into the new school year before we pick up our sketchbooks together.
Classes run weekly during term time (full dates below)
Depending on school holidays and term dates, most months include 3-4 classes
Monthly Payments
£48 per month
Payments are made monthly and school holidays are already taken into account, so the amount stays the same each month.
Your first payment will be taken when you secure your place and will cover the month your classes begin.
If your circumstances change simply get in touch.
Materials
For the first class young creatives will need:

Any extra materials will be shared a few weeks before we start and I always aim to keep things simple and affordable.

Spaces are limited to keep class sizes small and personal

It's a relaxed way for your young creative to meet the group, experience how classes work and see if YCO feels like the right place for them.
If they decide to join afterwards, your trial fee will be deducted from your first monthly payment.
