Summer Sketch Club (Ages 7-13)

Running throughout the summer holidays 29th July - 26th Aug

A fun and relaxed weekly sketching session where young artists can explore different drawing techniques, experiment with new ideas, and build confidence in their creative skills. Each session will focus on a different theme, from nature and animals to imaginative worlds!

This is an interactive workshop where everyone is welcome to join in, share ideas, and ask questions, but if they’d rather just sit back and sketch, that’s totally fine too! The atmosphere is relaxed and supportive, with a mix of guided demonstrations and plenty of space for independent creativity.

We’ll explore techniques like shading, gesture drawing, mark making, sketching people, and so much more. The skills they learn can be carried forward, helping them develope their drawing skills throughout the summer.

How Online Works

Can teaching art online really work? Absolutely!

In my experience, online classes are both accessible and highly effective. Through live Zoom sessions, I bring high quality art lessons straight to you. Whether you’re in a bustling city, a quiet village, or away from home. I know not everyone has easy access to local art classes or studios, but we all deserve the chance to deepen our creativity and skills in something we love.

All you need is a device, a WiFi connection, and some basic art materials.

The online format gives you an up-close view of the creative process. With one camera focused on the artwork and another on me, you won’t miss a single detail.
