A creative drawing course exploring how artists observe, understand, and interpret animals through drawing. Across the two sessions, young creatives will learn how to properly study reference images, explore texture, movement, mark-making, composition, and observational drawing techniques before gradually developing more personal and expressive interpretations in their own work. We’ll work through ideas together step-by-step, building confidence through guided drawing exercises, experimentation, and creative decision making, while still allowing plenty of space for individuality and imagination to grow throughout the course. Rather than focusing on copying perfectly, the course encourages young creatives to understand what they are looking at, experiment creatively, and develop drawings with greater confidence, character, and expression. Young creatives will leave the course with: stronger observational drawing skills a better understanding of texture, movement, and composition increased confidence developing their own creative ideas sketchbook studies and developed animal drawings from across the course new drawing techniques and approaches they can continue using independently at home Materials Sketchbook or paper Drawing pencils Colouring pencils Rubber and sharpener How Online Sessions Work Sessions take place live on Zoom in a calm and supportive small-group environment. Young creatives are welcome to interact as much or as little as feels comfortable for them. Some love chatting throughout the session, while others prefer to quietly draw along and listen in. The Zoom chat box is always a lovely way for everyone to share ideas, ask questions, and get involved in a way that feels natural to them. Perfect for creative children who love animals, drawing, and experimenting creatively while building real artistic skills.

Cancellation Policy
Booking & Payment All workshops and courses must be booked and paid for in advance to secure your place. Payment can be made via the website or through an agreed payment method. Block bookings offer a discounted rate and must be paid in full before the course starts. Cancellations & Refunds If you need to cancel a session, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable. If you miss a session as part of a course, unfortunately, refunds or make up sessions cannot be guaranteed. However, where possible, I may provide access to recorded material. Block bookings and full course payments are non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances at my discretion. In the rare event that I need to cancel a session, you will be offered a full refund for that session or the option to reschedule. Course Structure & Materials All workshops are live and interactive, encouraging creativity and participation. Some sessions may be recorded for reference (these will not be publicly shared). Participants are responsible for their own materials, basic supplies will be listed ahead of each session. The sessions are designed to be engaging and supportive; all participants are expected to be respectful to each other in the online space. Technology & Access Workshops are held via Zoom and a link will be sent before the session. Please ensure you have a stable internet connection and a suitable device for joining. If a session is disrupted due to unforeseen technical issues, I will do my best to reschedule or provide alternative learning materials. By booking a session, you agree to these terms.
