Mini Creatives Art Club (Ages 7-11)
The Mini Creatives Art Club is perfect for your young artists who are just starting out. Designed for ages 7-11, this club gently introduces them to the world of art through fun, engaging projects. We’ll explore beginner level techniques and fresh ideas at a relaxed, easy pace, always taking the time to chat about what we’re creating. Projects might dive into the animal kingdom, draw inspiration from famous artists, or take a leap into the limitless world of imagination.
This is such a magical age, full of creativity and big ideas. This course isn’t about taming those amazing qualities, it’s about nurturing them, building confidence, and making art even more exciting!
What will they learn? Oh, a whole bucket load of skills and fun! I’ll break down the drawing process into clear, easy to follow steps, but it’s not just about copying. It’s about gaining a true understanding of the process and exploring creative approaches.
The aim is to engage them fully in the creative journey, building their understanding of techniques so they feel confident to explore and experiment on their own. We’ll try out exciting materials like watercolours and oil pastels, letting them explore and create key parts of each project. A material list will be sent to you prior to booking. If you'd like to know beforehand, just drop me an email, I try to keep the materials simple, using the core materials like pencils, watercolours and pastels.
If you can’t make it to a session, no worries! I can record it for you - just let me know in advance, as I don't record the class if everyone is present. I’ll send a more detailed explanation about participating online and using Zoom closer to the time. I want to ensure everyone feels comfortable on screen, ready to join in and have fun.

How Online Works
Can teaching art online really work? Absolutely!
In my experience, online classes are both accessible and highly effective. Through live Zoom sessions, I bring high quality art lessons straight to you. Whether you’re in a bustling city, a quiet village, or away from home. I know not everyone has easy access to local art classes or studios, but we all deserve the chance to deepen our creativity and skills in something we love.
During each live Zoom class, we’ll dive into various art techniques, materials, and ideas together, with other like minded creatives who share the same passion.
What You’ll Need:
All you need is a device, a WiFi connection, and some basic art materials. I’ll provide a material list for each class, and I always try to keep it simple and affordable. If you don’t have something, it’s usually easy to find.
The online format gives you an up-close view of the creative process. With one camera focused on the artwork and another on me, you won’t miss a single detail. And if you can’t make a class, no worries, I can record everything so you can catch up later!
